A warm welcome

Our Steering Committee brings together diverse perspectives to explore retreat centers' spiritual and societal impact. To continue to advance the Retreat Center Collaboration, we’ve welcomed two new members. Arleen Peterson and Jenyng Wu have been involved in our work through various community calls, retreats, and initiatives, and we’re thrilled they have said ‘yes’ to the Steering Committee.

Arleen is a nonprofit leader and community organizer with over 20 years of experience. She is the president and founder of ENZI and Associates, and currently serves as executive director of relational services for the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ/Ancilla Domini Sisters Inc., which operates the Lindenwood Retreat and Conference Center.

Jenyng is the operations and finance director at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center, and the president of the Holistic Centers Network. After 15 years building companies from the ground up, Jenyng uses her solution-based experiences to vision with others new ways forward, towards creating the world that she wants her boys to inherit.

We’re excited to welcome Arleen and Jenyng and their depth and breadth of retreat center knowledge and experiences. We are also grateful for Milicent Johnson and Michele Gossman who have stepped down from the Steering Committee, and we wish them the best in their endeavors.
