Stewardship Circle Transitions

Greetings all,

The RCC Stewardship Circle is responsible for stewarding the vision and strategic direction that guides and governs the Retreat Center Collaboration’s work. Last month, Yolanda Ramirez Salto announced her resignation from her position as program specialist at the Dominican Center Marywood at Aquinas College, and has therefore stepped down from her role in the RCC Stewardship Circle.

As program director for the RCC, I’m grateful for Yolanda’s vision, determination, hope, and deep faith that have supported her many contributions to the RCC over the last several years. Yolanda has been a regular at Community Calls, a steady witness to the changing roles of retreat centers during the pandemic, a champion of collaborations and partnerships across organizations, and an advocate for communities at the edges who are often overlooked by retreat centers. We’re grateful for Yolanda’s enthusiastic contributions to the team, and we wish her much success in her future endeavors.

The Stewardship Circle is assessing current governance roles to better support RCC’s future. We look forward to continuing to support retreat centers as we move together toward universal flourishing.

In community,
