Sharing in Grief

Our weekly Community Calls provide peer support, discussion forums and guest workshops for retreat center leaders and allied organizations. Going forward, we’ll be posting videos of these calls here in our blog.

On May 12th we gathered to share in our grief during this time of great disruption and change, increasing visibility of ongoing inequity and injustice, as well as sobering new realities for the future of our centers. There is personal grief and loss here for us as leaders, and we also recognize the grief present in our organizations and communities surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact. Amidst this dark cloud of uncertainty are wise reflections on who we are and how we can be present in this moment.
