Taking the Pulse of the RCC

We’re grateful to the 50+ people from 46 retreat centers who submitted responses to our Community Survey in November 2020.

On this week’s Community Call, we talked through the aggregate data this survey collected. It offers many new insights on our network, and reveals some exciting potential for future work and funding.

We invite you and our entire community of retreat centers to explore this aggregate data further in videos, audio recordings, a PDF report, geographic and network maps, all available in our Mighty Network.

Because some of the data contains confidential information, we aren’t sharing it on this website, but encourage robust conversation within Mighty Networks, our private social platform designed just for retreat center leaders.

If you haven’t joined our Mighty Network yet, it’s easy to do so. Just submit a request.

Here are a few lines from the poem we read to open the conversation, “making tomorrow” by Adrienne Maree Brown.

…the only way forward is at the pace
of our collective heartbeat
altogether, imperfect, together

the past is turning to dust behind us
we must remember
the future is waiting beyond our anxiety
we must dream
the present is so small
we must fill it with our transformation
