Community Call: The We That Holds

Call begins at 1:30pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our Community Calls provide peer support, discussion forums and guest workshops for retreat center leaders. To attend Community Calls, please Sign Up.

Facilitators: Rako Fabionar, RCC Steering Committee

Topic: The We That Holds: Guided Meditations for Ease

This series of sessions is an invitation for RCC members to meditate together and be held in a community of practice that centers ease and support. We will draw upon insights from different wisdom traditions to relax our nervous systems and deepen our embodied awareness of ourselves, others, and environment. Participants are welcome to experience the potency and support of a subtle, relational field that is created through intention, practice, and support - even if done non-locally and through Zoom.

M. Rako Fabionar cultivates multidimensional learning environments for folks to experience deeper connection, insight, and well-being. Rako comes from a family of educators and healers, a lineage connected to the Boholano/Eskaya indigenous people of the Philippines. He was identified as “one who carries medicine” by elders and spirits of three different lineage traditions and invited to participate in many healings, apprenticeships, trainings, and formal initiation ceremonies the last two decades. Rako is often sought out to support people during times of transition, with more than 20 years’ experience designing a wide-range of transformative initiatives for universities, community-based organizations, businesses, and change networks. He is part of the RCC steering committee.
